Christian Roman got his professional start as a layout artist on The Simpsons, eventually rising to Storyboard Supervisor and authoring the show's official manual. He later moved to Disney TVA, where he developed and directed Disney’s Fillmore! (earning Emmy and Annie nominations) and Jake Long: American Dragon, as well as storyboarding for other shows like King of the Hill, The Twisted Tales of Felix the Cat and Lilo & Stitch.

Christian moved to San Francisco in 2007 to join Pixar Animation Studios. His first project there was the Oscar-winning Toy Story 3, kicking off a creative run that included every Toy Story short and special, Cars 3, Toy Story 4, Onward, Luca, Dug Days, and Elemental.
