As a Black disabled ace-lesbian screenwriter, I am deeply passionate about crafting narratives exploring girlhood, friendship, found family, queer joy, a sense of belonging, and advocating for equitable systems. Through my writing, I aim to nurture the growing hearts of young audiences with humorous, heartwarming coming-of-age fantasy stories that center nuanced Queer, Trans, Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and disabled girls, women, and non-humans.
My goal as a screenwriter has been, and will continue to be, to write deeply profound, meaningful, emotionally resonant, and authentic stories that do not perpetuate harmful stereotypes and contribute to narrative change.
Joining Black N Animated allowed me to connect and collaborate with fellow Blerds, and I’m excited to support their work in advancing the careers of Black artists, students, and professionals in the animation industry.
