Maureen Lawton holds a Masters/Ed.S degree in Leadership Studies and Certification in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace along with a Human Rights Education training certification to her advocacy tool belt.
Born the daughter of a diplomat, watching her father navigate the importance of human rights thru connection and belonging while he worked for the United Nations paired with experiences traveling the world planted a seed early on in her life to answer the call to service in social justice and advocacy for all people. Her background in luxe hospitality helped fine tune her people skills in always leading with 5-star client/guest experiences.
Maureen helps organizations foster more inclusive environments by creating open and welcoming community spaces with a high concentration in heart-lead purposeful leadership and emotional intelligence. Her passion for people and culture has driven her forward to picking up the advocacy flag in allyship, inclusion and representation for marginalized communities.
Championing creating growth and learning opportunities through speaking engagements, community outreach engagement, strategic partnerships and talent development training for organizations through a cultural lens.
