Cameron Alexander Brown (CAB) is an Emmy award winning producer with a background in character design & animation production. His passion for animation history, storytelling and advocacy for artists has led him to Black N Animated as communications manager and executive assistant, where he hopes to aide in uplifting often unheard voices and giving them the tools to succeed!

CAB’s first love has always been animation. From the early age of four, he knew that his future needed to involve drawing tables, celluloids, and ink & paint. Today, he works more with drawing tablets, photoshop layers, and digital brushes! CAB went to school at the prestigious Savannah College of Art & Design, in Savannah Georgia, where he learned the modern tools of the trade, tutored under animation veterans, and led in the production of two animated short films, one earning him his first student Emmy and the other best direction.

These successes got the attention of DreamWorks Animation, where he worked as a development production intern, and Disney Television Animation, procuring a position as a production department secretary for two years. These jobs taught CAB about the fast pace world of TV animation production, and how to communicate on all levels, from the most laid-back artist, to the least high strung executive. Nowadays, CAB is working to perfect his craft, whether it be character designs for music videos, animation themed podcasts, or even developing his own pitches under the alias CABToons.

CAB’s ultimate goal is to uplift the medium of animation to new heights and inspire the next generation of artists and animation enthusiasts to dream big and create unapologetically. Being apart of Black N Animated gives CAB the tools to serve the community he grew up adoring, while also learning more about the industry himself. BNA is filled with passionate, ambitious, and unique black artists, and CAB is excited to live up to those ideals while also connecting with black artists at the beginning of their journey, hoping to send the message that animation can be for everyone.
